The American Medical Association (AMA) released two reports this week concerning quality and patient safety. The first report, being offered free of charge, is a guide to Patient Safety Organizations (PSO) specifically for physicians to understand how PSOs can help them report adverse events.

The second report, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, pulls together research done with 13 medical societies to find how the AMA can work with them to better enhance quality care for provided in the doctor's office.

Both reports, which are PDFs, can be found here.
