The Patient Safety Monitor Blog launched a contest in honor of National Patient Safety Day, which took place on July 25. Participants are invited to submit any creative patient safety events that their facility has hosted to promote patient safety. This could be a fair, education program, hospitalwide campaign, or other activity.
At the end of the month, one winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and will win a copy of the Patient Safety Officer's Handbook.
