A 65-year-old man was charged after he apparently threatened to take a gun and shoot everyone at a Pennsylvania hospital, according to a report in The Daily Item of Sunbury, Pennsylvania.

According to the report, William R. Whitmoyer said he would shoot staff members at the Geisinger Medical Center in Mahoning Township, a town northwest of Philadelphia, “and make hamburger meat out of them” on February 18.

According to the report, a nurse who was treating Whitmoyer reported the incident after he made the threats while she was taking vital signs. Emergency department staff became concerned that an act of violence would be carried out and called police, the report said. Police charged Whitmoyer with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct, according to The Daily Item.
