Man texted threats to attack doctor with baseball bat

October 8, 2014

A Stamford, Connecticut man was arrested Oct. 2 after he repeatedly texted an employee at Stamford Hospital and threatened to smash a doctor in the head with a baseball bat, according to a report in the Stamford Daily Voice news website.

Guy Magnuson, 61, of 301 Westwood Road, Stamford, was charged with second-degree harassment and first-degree trespass by police. The report added that Magnuson apparently texted the hospital employee so much that security posted a photograph of him warning employees of a potential threat.

Despite repeated warnings from hospital security to stay away from the hospital, Magnuson showed up in the hospital parking lot just before 1 p.m. Thursday and once again repeatedly texted the employee, leading to his arrest.
